Who are you

Who are you and what’s defining you. This is a tough question that most of us would hesitate to answer; we’d have to think about it – why?
We’re hesitant to answer because the answer has to come from within, and who we are within most of us suppress — so we’re not sure, we’ll wait until what we’ve been showing others on the outside takes over.

If you’ve ever said, I was going to, or I should have, or I was about to, after you really had the chance, you’re making an excuse for your outer man; that’s why the hesitation.  … Stay with me.

Those kinds of statements mean your inner man was not in agreement with your outer man, so the real you, [your spirit] speaks up for the you you’ve been observing, the you you show others, the you you’ve allowed to be dominate.

Many people wait for everything — then react, they don’t plan much, but act off reactions triggered by the lack of planning, [Remember the article on “Thought”], becoming followers of our outer selves, the selves dictated by the lust of the world and riding it out until the real you/us gets challenged, then here come the excuses, for protection.

Watching is easier than doing because doing requires effort. The real you is forced to sit back and watch; watching the worldly you just getting by, barely making the cut rather than making a difference, observing as you go through the motions on everything you do, absent of concern, or compassion — then having the nerve to get upset if you’re define by others about the you you’re watching too. That kind of anger rest in the bosom of fools, (Ecclesiastes 7:9). We’ve grown very comfortable with this split personality.

Because of life were very protective of ourselves, but we’re protecting this thing which has developed into a puppet that nobody knows — even you that you’re going along with. This puppet is a familiar spirit — dictating to you what you’re not but what you’ve accepted and believe is. (Leviticus 19:31) warns us.

Look into the mirror, do you like what you see, or do you see the ways of the world all over you in expression, in posture, in attitude, in appearance, in routine; trying to belong, too be impressive/proving, catching what you want to break away from rather than what you want, being defined by trends and fads — even language as this split personality wages war inside your members, and you wonder how come no one understands me as your cry?  Sorry. I better conclude.

Part of the finished works of the Cross is sanctification along with the forgiving of sins and healing. Sanctification mean separate, but this separation means losing your desire for worldly things. (1st John 2:15,16), (1st Peter 2:10), (Colossians 3:8).

Worldly ways are a detriment and complicated. Nothing good can come from that way of life. Part of you already is not in agreement, and that part of you that’s not in agreement is the part of you that will live forever with Jesus — if it’s what dominates you in and out — un-split.

Word of note: Bad Company corrupts good morals, (1st Corinthians 15:33).
(Proverbs 13:20), He who walks with wise man will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed. So, hanging out with real people, not hidden people, will make you wise… Leave the presence of a fool because they don’t have words of knowledge, (Proverbs 14:7)… Don’t sit with men of falsehood and don’t consort with hypocrites and hate the assembly of evildoers, and don’t sit with the wicked, (Psalm 26:4,5)… Make no friendship with a man of anger or go with someone wrathful because they’ll rub off on you and you’ll learn their ways, (Proverbs 22: 24,25).

The people you associate with have an amazing affect upon you; they can either bring out your best which is inside the inner Man, or keep you in bondage so you’ll continue to protect what’s not seen while showing what you’re actually are not. Take a moment and read the post “the Whole World is a Stage” and as a kicker, willpower and positive thinking posted on Facebook, and put a stop to the spiral. Know who you are and be that, but you can’t do it without Jesus because — you don’t know.

I’m a believer, born again/saved, and trust God. This was not always the case. What happened to me is what non-believer's choose not to believe; I know because I was one of them. The lie is part of all non-believer's DNA if they know it or not, and the truth is a new DNA you inherit when the lie is removed once saved, which is stated in that all too good to be true statement, in the twinkling of an eye found in the Bible. Also believe it or not, I’m no preacher, Deacon, Trustee, Elder, Bishop, Apostle, Evangelists or any who’s who title carrier of the church, I'm just a disciple of God/Jesus doing obedience which in my opinion covers all the above.
