Get Saved Now!

Those three words can turn off the majority, but those three words could strike the curiosity of those the Holy Spirit is telling to read on.

When people say they’re saved, they’re saying too, that they’re born-again, but for most we associate being-born again with religion, and religion turns people off. It turns God off to. For those who are still with me, stick around.

They’re plenty of so called good people out there who don’t want to displease God; they won’t contest that, yet they’re plenty of so called bad people out there too who don’t want to tempt God either and care less about how they live their lives — however some do have boundaries when it pertains to God because of religion, so their choice is to stay away. And some people are honest enough to admit they believe but can’t or don’t want to turn their lives around. They’ll claim maybe sometime in the future if at all when they get things together because they again don’t feel like being religious, and they’re right – being religious that is.

Because of religion many people have died and gone to Hell, plus many more will follow since they’re so many churches out there not helping matters, preaching condemnation to disguise control and greed, growing churches as family businesses, taking advantages of people where they’re the most vulnerable by manipulating their faith and confusing salvation, teaching it’s won or lost if disobedient to the brand.

I’m here to tell you now — getting saved/ born-again is a come-as-you-are invitation. It has nothing to do with religion, but with everything God wants for you, and His biggest want is for you not to be condemned to Hell, (2nd Peter 3:9). No one can earn their salvation no matter how good they think they are, and no one is so bad that God doesn’t love them and want to give it. That’s what’s so gracious and merciful about God. The thief on the cross alongside Jesus asked, Lord remember me? And Jesus answered, today you’ll be with me in Paradise, (Luke 23:42, 43). Read the thief’s request again. All the evil man did was believed — no religion, no water baptism, no tithes, and no works was needed, and so it is today; it’s just that simple.

The thief could not earn his salvation and neither can you or me; that’s the good thing. If we could earn it, then God would owe us, and He owes us nor any of His creation NOTHING. Creation was made for His pleasure, (Revelation 4:11). Salvation is a gift you have the choice to receive or reject. I’m saved because I asked to be, because I believe. I’m living forever with whatever Jesus has blessed me with that’s mine stored in Heavenly places waiting for me doing obedience so as not to lose them — starting now, (Ephesians 1:3), not after I’m dead, which religion teaches. And it’s not because I’ve stopped living life as I know it, it’s because I’m a new creature in Christ and living my life as I never thought possible, living my everlasting life right now with the help of the Holy Spirit and I’m not missing anything, in fact, I’m getting more with less effort. Part of that more is “Peace” with supernatural manifestations in everything I do from A to Z, and 7/24 and I’m elated, blessed, and highly favored since my redemption; free of condemnation. I keep away from religion, not praise, but religion. Glory be to God.

So, what’s the hold up, especially if you read this entire message and you’re not saved. Don’t play Russian Rolette with your life any longer, not for another moment, your next breath is not promised. Get Saved Now!

Word of note: Brother and sisters all caught up in sin and the sins of this world, lost, needing deliverance, healing, etc. not wanting to live the life you’re living, questioning everything because life is not fun anymore or what you thought it could be, lonely in heart and soul, afraid; then say this prayer out loud. Let Jesus in because He went to the cross and defeated those concerns, they’re all lies now, and all fixed because of Him.

Lord I know I’ve sinned against You, because I’m a sinner. I know that You lived, shed Your blood, died, was buried, and rose from the dead because You love me so. I confess my sins unto You because I believe it to be true. I want to be delivered from all unrighteousness as was promised by Your sacrifice on the cross. I want You to come into life, my heart, my mind; soul and spirit, to be my Lord and only Savior. I ask this of You precious Lord — in Your most holy, sacred, and blessed name, Jesus. Amen

If you said this simple prayer out loud and believe it, welcome to eternal life in the kingdom of God starting now with Jesus, and as a brand-new creature in Him with your slate wiped clean and all sins past present and future to be remembered no more. Simply put, born-again/saved. God bless you and your new birth walk.

If you don’t work you don’t eat

This phrase is used out of context when quoted from the Bible so its content gets misleading. You don’t have to be the sharpest knife in the drawer to understand, “we live in an imperfect world with a huge imbalance of wealth and power.” (quote is from United Bible Societies.)

Let me quickly add this, there’s no such thing as the Middle Class. Only the Have and the Have Not’s are the true classes. The middle class is a manufactured class because it only exists when there’s a need for labor; no need for labor– no growth in the middle class. To build up the middle class there has to be a constant demand for labor and the question is how and by whom.

In the Bible phrase, if you don’t work you don’t eat, (2nd Thessalonians 3:10), unwilling is what everybody misses. This Bible verse doesn’t pertain to you if you cannot work due to physical challenges, bodily diseases, old age, and the greed of employers, but it does imply to those who have a job and won’t do it being a busybody, (2nd Thessalonians 3:11). And in (2nd Thessalonians 3:12), scripture is telling those busybodies to get back to work, do their job, and earn their pay. Unwilling and unable are two different things.

These verses are saying, taking a paycheck for not doing your job — the job you already have, is wrong; going through the motions being busybody’s also defined as obstructionist, is wrong and you should forfeit your pay or don’t eat as describe in the Bible verse that some get a real joy of boasting ignorantly. This type of person who’s working, but unwilling, not unable, but again unwilling to do their job shouldn’t be rewarded as if they did – hello, United States Congress.

The very ones that posture themselves around (2nd Thessalonians 3:10) are the very ones that shouldn’t eat and that’s the Republican House and Senate. They’re the most dysfunctional group of elected officials not to do their job in history. They decided their job was to ruin, damage and wreck the Presidency of the nominated President of the United States, Obama without cause, to be obstructionist/busybodies and troublesome, holding secluded, confidential, and concealed meetings for their strategy of treason from day one — focusing how they were not going to work with the voters choice for the office, which is counter to their job description as elected officials of the U.S. House and Senate, but instead made it their job to try and bring the President of the United States down being in complete opposition, nor being respectful of his position at all costs before he’d even opened his mouth as leader and the most powerful man of the free world — for four, and to their surprise eight years — without one scandal in his administration, but at the cost of America, and why?  You fill in the blanks for the reasons, but back to the middle class.

The Middle Class erodes as fast as technology grows. technology is extinguishing the middle class as we once knew it. The labor pools are larger but task orientated jobs are becoming extinct as technology grows, with its progress; camouflaged often as greed. Businesses are amassing huge profits with imbalanced and disproportions of wealth as a norm, while the labor pool grows into an expanded class of Have Not’s. Are they able, unable, or unwilling, either way they’re poor; not working — but should they eat is the question, and who and what has made them Have Not’s? Were they being busybodies, meddlers, hindering accomplishment by pretending but in reality doing nothing, maybe a few but not the majority of this group — but God.

God has a say in this you know. In (Deuteronomy 15:7, 8) He says if people are in need help them, and be generous about it. In (Jeremiah 22:3) He says protect the ones being used and cheated upon like foreigners, orphans, and widows. “Don’t think He forget the Have Not’s whose jobs were snatched from them to go automated or overseas for greed just because it’s not written. These people were cheated.” In (John 3:17) He says rich people who see people in need but don’t help, they’ve got nothing coming from Him. “Many rich people believe the Have Not’s are needy because of their belief and dependence on God instead of themselves.” In (James 2:15,16) He says if people need clothes and something to eat, what good is it to wish him well and you don’t help them with the necessities of life. In (1st Corinthians 10:24) He says our own interest means nothing if we are callus to the interests of others. One more, in (Romans 12:13) He says share your things with people and make them feel at home. “Ain’t America American’s home — with the wealth of America horded because of sheer wantonness by so few?”

These versus don’t sound like punishing the Have Not’s to me. The only verse I saw that had punishment was (2nd Thessalonians 3:11), busybodies accomplishing nothing. For you guys unwilling to do your job and you have one – accomplishing and achieving nothing, you’re the ones who don’t deserve to eat.

How does Jesus see you

Believers are quick to say — trust in God, give every care and concern to God, let God lead and take care of all things; talk to God first and not as a last resort, and so on. Fine, but where is He and why does He stay so invisible if He exist?

People look at us believers strange and feel we’re copping out for not knowing definitive answers about life in general and use God as a club when we’re lost or have no more to say, but being ever so quick to stick out our chest and say — trust God; trust Him in everything you do; too, if you’re speaking to a non-believer, they might just say what for?

These kinds of expressions come because God continues to be this mystery for the non-knowing. The non-knowing, miss-informed believe that God is somewhere in the great someplace doing His thing if He BE’s — maybe, and how convenient is it for believers to have two forces no one can see; one Good and the other Evil.

People believe believers have this advantage to claim everything good is of God, and blaming everything bad is of Satan. It must be great to have it both ways they’ll say. Well shame on us believers. We need to do a better job if we want people to come on board, not to defend Jesus, but define how Jesus see’s you and me because this could close the gap?  I’ll try to explain with the help from (Zephaniah 3:17) and paraphrasing from “Gills Exposition of the entire Bible”, but first.

It’s a fact that Jesus was born. It’s a fact that His parents were Joseph and Mary. It’s a fact that He was born in Bethlehem, Israel. It’s a fact that He went from town to town, City to City preaching how to live a supernatural lifestyle and healing people supernaturally. It’s a fact that He walked on water, tamed the sea, and healed the lame, the blind, turned water into wine, fed thousands from practically nothing, and raised the dead. It’s a fact He died on a cross, was buried, and rose from the dead, it’s a fact people saw Him, and fellowshipped with Him after three (3) days; also, it’s a fact He ascended into the heavens and it’s a fact He’s returning — just to name a few things. This is who we believers are told to turn all things over to. (Palms 55)

Jesus said just do it, have faith and believe without doubt – never quitting and watch the results, (James 1:6,7). This is why we believers say these things, because it’s been tried and proven — not by a factious character, but by a real man and His Name is JESUS. Jesus a real man says this is so, so do it. Mary, Jesus’ mother said at a wedding to some servers, “Whatever He says, do it.” (John 2:5). [More claims are listed under miracles and blessings found it the Holy Bible.] Mary’s instruction to the servers did not stop at the wedding, it started us on the path of faith, and trust in Jesus period. Her statement that day was the jump start to all biblical speak non-believers say we believers voice and proclaim.

Believers are not telling you to put trust into a fairy tale — but in a real person who proved He’s the Son of God. This person Jesus/our Lord and Savior, told us there’s a Heaven and Hell, plus forces of good and evil not seen, a physical and spiritual world, and that our battle is not with each other, but with a realm of existence trying to have a physical presence in this physical world that contradicts God — working through us, (Ephesians 6:12). And the reason is to take as many people to Hell with them so they can hurt and laugh at God every time He loses one us to their side for all of eternity because of ignorance and their choice of non-belief.

Jesus is not a figment of someone’s imagination, but a real Being sent by God to represent, to save the lost against Satan and Hell, and to show us how life in the physical world can be lived with faith and trust in God His Father, and ours too if we accept who Jesus is and what He came here to do…Whew!

So, this is how Jesus sees us.

Keep in mind, no one can get around this fact if you believe it or not, God is in our midst. Every single word in the Bible carry’s in it something encouraging, with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to the people of God and is the remedy against all fears and inadequacies we’re subject to and Jesus is right in the middle of it all with the Holy Spirit to protect and defend us. This was concluded by His sacrifice on the Cross, and promised even before that event we’d never be alone, (John 14:25,26).  First it was backed/co-signed by God who prophesied it by means of Moses in, (Deuteronomy 31:6) and again inspired by means of the Apostle Paul in (Hebrews 13:5,6).

Jesus and His promise the Holy Spirit is not only nearby, but His divine presents is everywhere; even inside of us once saved, and His love and concerns is with all creatures and creation. Because of this, this gracious presence particularly to His church/the born-again believers who are now His people, the new creatures in Him, (2nd Corinthians 5:17),  Jesus gives us unspeakable joy, and has unequivocal security against all our fears and distresses as He being Lord and Savior, (Isaiah 41:10). And because Jesus is the Being of beings, (Revelation 19:6) eternal, unchanging, incorruptible, and possessor of all divine perfections as almighty God, and our mediator/representative who has all power in heaven and earth as the Man of God’s right hand, [the second part of the Trinity], sacrificed Himself by shedding His blood on the Cross for our sins, iniquities and transgressions; to be remembered no more, (Isaiah 43 :25) saving us all from the pits of Hell, and to deliver us out of the hands of every enemy, to assert His interest and support to help and assist us in our daily lives, also to influence every duty and service He calls us too, this real man, this real man who is God’s Word lived amongst us; this real man – Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, (John 1:14).

Jesus established a new covenant to live by for those now chosen, and He did the same for the lost so they too can receive salvation, seeing that all Heavenly blessings are applied to everyone who comes, and also promising — He’s coming again in a physical nature/presence to put us into full possession of all our blessing once and for all.

Jesus saved us freely, fully, and for everlasting from sin, Satan, the law, and the wrath of God — and every spiritual or temporary enemy so that the church — which are the believers, have nothing to fear be it a person, place, thing, sickness, or disease, (Psalm 91). Jesus rejoices over us with limitless joy, and knowing that should do us great good.

Jesus continues to love us with a love so great and strong that it feels like a physical presence without variation or change; nothing shall separate us from it, again, (Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13: 5,6), and it shall always remain the same (Hebrews 13:8) with no contentment but only with satisfaction that’ll always bless — pleasing everyone who loves Him. He takes the utmost thrill in expressing His love by words and deeds, and will never say one word that’s vindictive or with wrath. He makes every enemy silent to anything that’s contrary to His people. He forgave all our iniquities and heals all our diseases (Psalms103:3) and even has delight in singing over us, His chosen, the born-again, we who are saved that were lost, the new people in Christ. This and more is the source of all Grace that He bestows upon all of us who love Him, and that’s the honest to God truth.

So, I brag to people about Jesus. I’m one of those saying, trust in God, give every care and concern to God, let God lead and take care of all things; talk to God first and not as a last resort, trust in God, give everything to God, let God do it; talk to God about it, and so on, but through Jesus of course.

Word of note: I’m not sure if the Apostle Paul wrote Hebrews but I gave him the credit anyway at the time of this article.

Waste of time or different values

What’s wasted time? It’s any and everything you do that’s lost its value that’ll become an energy drain shortly if continued, also any and every path of choice not of greater value.

As we mature our values, desires, perceptions, and preferences change. Once what had worth in our lives as we grew changed. it’s not that its lost its value of sort, but that you, me included, have moved on and to stay in that frame becomes wasted time, plus to continue can become an energy drain. This can happen easily be it with people, places, or things.

People are involved daily doing something or other — it’s what makes the world go around with all of its excitement, but what you’re involved or vice-versa, that’s exciting or once was — may have no value to me or you anymore for that matter — so my or your continued involvement in it would be a waste of our time and too force participation would eventually become an energy drain for us — or has it, or is it that our values have changed because others still enjoy what was once fine with us — until. So, which one is it?

Here’s an example: Your career choice was perfect for you; unquestionably valuable, but for reasons — one day it felt as if it was a waste of time and to continue forcing yourself to do it started zapping your energy. So, which one is it? The change of desire, perception, or preference, or is it a waste of time. Someone will celebrate the opportunity you’ve provided for them by your leaving.

Here’s another example: Your home, neighborhood, or surroundings was a perfect fit for you, but for reasons isn’t satisfactory anymore; it’s lost its value and to stay pulls on your actual being, stealing your self-worth because you feel your time can be better served someplace else. So, which one is it? The change of perception and desire, or a waste of time. Someone will not have that observation when they move into the void you intend to create.

Here’s one more added example: People. This is the hardest because people are not fixed like property, goods, possessions, assets or a career choice — people evolve. It’s important to probe deep into your soul and not just your heart where people are concerned. Being with someone who doesn’t understand or share your values will ultimately zap your energy and become a waste of time. So, which one is it? The change of desire, or a waste of time. Neither when it comes to people.

When anything pulls the energy from you and you can’t get it back from the source that took it, it’ll lose its value because of its effect that’ll grow strenuous to you even though you know it like the back of your hand; and in a while, could change into a waste of time, but then again people are different. Why? Maturity.

Maturity — or the lack there of changes values as I before mentioned in the second paragraph. It changes how we view and see people, places, and things; it’ll influence our decision-making/choices, desires, perceptions, and preferences — jump-starting new energy and new priorities. Scripture calls this a season, (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) but for people there’s an exception. We can get back those desires found in relationships young or old because we’re not fixed — if we mature; but will probably develop into a fixed behavior and personality if we don’t.

As our seasons change there should be no loss of energy, (mentally speaking) but an understanding be it a person, place, or thing. If there is a loss of energy, ask yourself — did you mature and assume different values; if so, was what you grew from really a waste of time? Which one is it?

This last example is about your soul: How many things of greater value do you put off or avoid completely to do something else of lesser value? How long do you engage in lesser value? Is it until time is about to expire on the greater value so you’re rushed and give a poor just getting by representation, or do you just decide to miss out on the greater value completely letting its opportunities, findings, wisdom, understanding and knowledge remain hidden to you but bearing light for others to define you as — slow? So, what’s influencing this style of behavior if this is you because it’s not of God but a lack of maturity; a self-centered, non-discernment of values, and a conscience, deliberate decision to be satisfied in wasted time; being bored, fed up, and depressed. So, which one is it? One deals with maturity and the other a lack of it.

So, what’s wasted time or different values? It’s all in the eye of the beholder — left for the world to define as it sees fit if the beholder shows no concern.

The whole world is a stage

The whole world is a stage, and everybody’s playing a part. This is a title of a song back in the day by Sweet James and the Fantastic Four that’s ringing loud in my thoughts this day.

When we prepare for the day, in actuality we’re getting into character for our daily performance wherever. We put on the character we want the world to see, then act accordingly. This is a big reason why we’re misunderstood so many times as this invalid behavior keeps us unjustly, and too often in situations of clarification when people try to define us built on what they see. The world sees this character and evaluates us of how we play the lead – unknowingly to them it’s a performance, an act we’ve perfected, and many of us start to believe we are this character we’ve created, too, several of us take this make believe personality home, and never get out of character; yet again, they’re some individuals who fall in love with this manufactured demeanor and on and on it goes … but God.

God doesn’t fall for the characters we portray. He goes past that to look at the heart because that’s where He’ll find the true you and that’s what He loves about you and me unconditionally — our true hearts; not a character, — and so will others regardless if our position is the same or different from theirs as long as we’re true and not playing a role. I may not like it, and you may not like it, but it’ll be true; only then can I really know whom I’m dealing, and so with you, eventually things can get accomplished. But if we’re both in character — we’re battling with our heart and with each other and at that point things have a chance to get complicated.

Our true heart is made in God’s image and likeness, but a character gets in the way because of the role which it has to play before the world — ultimately, we all fall victim to it regardless if we’re the winner or the loser.

I’m so thankful I don’t have to clarify myself or something, nor be misunderstood when I’m spending time in the presence of God. He knows where I’m coming from and if I’m bringing a character to our quiet time. He’ll quickly catch that by revealing a passage from the Bible, which is His Word — that’ll put an immediate stop to all that nonsense because He’ll never be in agreement with whom I portray but is always in agreement with who I I’m in Him. It’s not about who I think I am, it’s about what He knows I am and has created in me, and He’s never wrong. (Romans 3:4) reads, Let God be true and every man a liar. God knows what He put in me and where my heart is at any particular moment regardless of any misrepresentation of me I present – so no clarification is needed because He knows me better than me. What a breath of fresh air it is to have a relationship with someone who understands you through and through so when you come to them, it’s with all your cards face up; no explanation, no retracting or trying to bring things up to date because of all the mess I’ve created being phony – a hypocrite in God’s eye, but He’s always hitting that homerun being true and straight to the point with me.

Leave your characters in a bottle somewhere and expose your heart; it’s better than anything you can create because it’s of God and the Holy Spirit works from there. Quit evaluating and analyzing others grounded in what you want them to be because of what you think you see in them; they just might be portraying a character in a scene on this world stage — the character you’ve receive because of the character you’re playing, (Luke 6:42).

There’s a battle going on

I’ve been born again/saved fifteen years now and didn’t know how it happen until about four or five years later. Things began to develop and occur to me that I had no previous familiarity nor had any interest, but I didn’t fight it, I just went with the flow and since then I’ve changed, no I’ve changed a lot, and it wasn’t my doing.

My eyes see differently. My heart I’ve discovered speaks to my mind but not with bundles of emotion, but with revelation from within — peculiar. Daily I recognize I’m in a world I’m no longer part of – kind of alien. Once upon a time yes, I was very much of the world we live, but not anymore — weird stuff so far huh; but it’s in the Bible, (John 17:16).

A new reality is shaping my total being — fascinating. The way I’ve once participated in the world is no more, and I don’t miss it. I do many of the same things, but with different meaning. I enjoy what I’ve always enjoyed — better, but for some reason avoid those things I once thought had value and was part of me by putting them into another perspective; enjoyed the right way, and like I said, I’m not missing a thing.

Everything in this world effecting life has been tainted and is no longer original. Too, let it be known, is a poor replica of what it should have, or was supposed to have been. I see this so clearly now, not seeing with my eyes but through them, and please don’t let me get started on the subject of products. So how does this affect me?

It had little if no effect at all on the old me because I grew with it, but I’ve been born again/saved, a new creature in Christ; a new being, (2nd Corinthians 5:17). So now I enjoy life God’s way. I do everything I used to do but with adjustments. The battle is with my old ways and thoughts — residue is a good word, that’s still part of this tainted world challenging my adjustments. This is a constant battle and the passages in God’s Word saying keep His Word in front of your eyes day and night takes on a huge role, (Deuteronomy 11:18,19), (Proverbs 4:21,22), challenging me left and right — tempting is a good word. To not be strong in faith, I’ll crash and burn losing the fight that’s raging furious inside of me, wanting me to dip and dab with reminders of how it once was and could be again – lies, but with faith, it ain’t so hard. Still, “There’s a battle going on.”

Fulfillment doesn’t have a comfort zone

To have a fulfilled life you can’t be lazy. Inactivity is not fulfilling. Have you noticed that inactive people have the least, want the most, and are the neediest. Young or old opportunity eludes this group. The me first generation of pleasure seekers, the selfish, self-centered, self-interested, egotistical and addicts are also a close cousin to this false hope of flawed reality. Yes, even the addicted are also searching for comfort, pleasure, and escape through their drug of choice and it shows.

Fulfillment stirs up restlessness because it’s active. Our world tells us activity at times is what we need rest from; that activities can be a drain. But people — fulfillment is not stationary, so what kind of activity or the lack of is the drain? You’ve all heard it – the golfer needs a break from golf so they do something else, and we need a break from something else so we golf, get it, see the cycle, and on it goes. You don’t need a break from fulfillment, you run to it.

Scripture tells us it’s a time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1), but know this, fulfillment is endless and timeless. To be in a constant search for pleasure, or too remain in your comfort zone, is to stop in a given moment of time, then departing and unloading from the reason we’re here. We see this in people all the time, they can only talk about times up to the period when they stopped or were cut off voluntarily or involuntarily, as a result — checking into a comfort zone; then there’s nothing beyond that point. Listen; slowing the pace a little, yes, but un-boarding, no. A lion that don’t hunt don’t eat.

Some people because of their lack of understanding only have this me generation as a barometer that falsely tells them what they’re doing is fulfilling. For them — they’ve arrived. For them — fulfillment was obtained because society (that’s us who peer into the lives of people defining them rather than the other way around), deemed it so. These souls sit high on their own perch. They don’t have fulfillment — they’ve found a comfort zone that’s paying off. We know of many people who society feels have everything but ended their lives by their own hands because of the absence of fulfillment.

Fulfillment is in God’s will and purpose for your life. If it’s about you — it’s temporary so it’s not fulfillment (Psalm 102:3), if it’s worldly — it’s temporary so it’s not fulfillment (2nd Corinthians 4:18), and scripture says it’s no good thing in the flesh, (Romans 7:18), so, where’s fulfillment? (Please read the first sentence of this paragraph.) Now don’t be fooled with the confusions the world is selling trying to fuel your heart with its warped views of fulfillment putting value in stuff and you buying into it, it’s not real; fake to use the term of the day.

You can’t find fulfillment because you’re either in it or out of it, but is recognizable when you have it because it’s discerning/revealed, and rewarded; but for certain, a comfort zone will not, can not, and does not invite it.

Gaidi

Word of note: A comfort zone is your safehouse. Fulfillment is found by not playing it safe; but working in your comfort zone is fulfilling if that comfort zone’s value/reward is greater than you; not for you. Only then can you understand fulfillment’s presence and its worth.

Busy; too much on your plate, not really

When we have a lot to do we’re quick to tell people — I’m busy or my plate’s full because we’ve so much on our schedule; we’d feel overwhelmed if something else came up, but why?

If the reasons are not because of laziness — we may well feel this way because we look at our tasks as completions; finished/done before we start — looking at the finish line as suppose the progressions of joyful victories along the way — so out of the gate we’re behind and under the gun; pressure begins and we become too busy, have no time, feel pushed, saturated and at times overwhelmed. God knows this, that’s why He doesn’t show us everything He’s prepared all at once, but will guide us as we step out in faith toward the goal, (1st Corinthians 2:9), (Proverbs 19:21), (Proverbs 16:9),(Proverbs 16:3). We couldn’t handle it anyway because we think too small as far as is God is concern, plus it wouldn’t get done.

God gives us mortal men and women one hundred and twenty years of life, (120 yrs.), (Genesis 6:3), and without task we’d just be taking up space, limiting God as I mentioned above. We’re supposed to be busy; not floating along. Do you really think you can live one hundred and twenty years from where you are now without boredom and stagnation seeping in sooner than you think, of course not; you couldn’t stand it. Keep this in mind — too much idleness or anything for that matter is bad and can breed corruption. So, no matter what — you need something on your plate besides you. With only you on your plate you’d get bored quickly, and if you’re retired, fishing and golfing is not something to only look forward to for your next 60 years.

Our task in life are steps not jobs. Every task is a learning experience to help you move forward so you’d be able to take the next step outside of your comfort zone no matter how menial or how old you are, but to try and run up the steps, hurrying, you might trip, fall, hurt yourself, and you’d miss things. “We wish for quick success, but if that happens we’d miss many lessons along the way”. God says be patient and not anxious about anything, (Philippians 4:6).

Consider your job, task, and responsibilities as steps toward your destiny one page at a time, but take note, for as long as you live you’ll never reach your destiny, it’s not achievable because it confines God’s endless plans for you. You’ll never arrive so thank God you’re blessed with the ability to be busy and feel you have a lot on your plate; striving, achieving, fulfilling, accomplishing, and understanding but with God of course, Jesus as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as your guide.

Have you gone and come out of the Wilderness yet

There comes a time in everyone’s life when you feel you’re between this and that; a time when you’re stagnant, lifeless; frozen at the cross roads. This moment requires some huge decision making because it’ll be life-changing. It’s not the simple stuff like where do I go from here, it’s bigger. It’s about everything what you thought you were about is not what you’re about at all. Something’s happening so big you’ll say I’ve got to get away. I need some time to myself, to be alone, apart from the everyday too figure stuff out, so you set aside some time in the day to think about it, but you’re not really thinking you’re getting instruction, vision, and plans like you’ve never thought before. Guess what, God’s calling, and you’ve just entered the Wilderness. (Not to be confused or associated as the Twilight Zone) You’ve just entered into a realm of existence foreign to all those who haven’t been there yet. The Wilderness comes to the born-again saved, and those who are about to be, that are called and chosen by the Spirit, (Matthew 22:13). Jesus experienced this as well after He received the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 4:1).

It’s written that Jesus was tempted at least three times while He was in the Wilderness, (Luke 4:1-13). It was much more — but only three were written about. Jesus was tempted with everything by Satan; everything Satan could possibly throw at Him that he throws at us individually and the entire world, but more; daily, and for forty days and nights with continuous and constant barrages of temptations known and unknown to a common man, but that wasn’t all. While in the Wilderness Jesus also got instruction, vision, and plans for His Ministry; where to start and how and when it was to end, (Mark 1:12,13). We know today that end was crucifixion, (John 19:30).

Jesus’ destination was the Cross but before that everything He did in His ministry, and the results of what He did was a prototype of how physical life on Earth was supposed to be before the fall of Man. This means there’s nothing missing in the Bible pertaining to how life is to be lived on Earth.

Jesus was the word of God in the flesh, (John 1:14). Jesus’ life on earth was actually the voice of God and how He/God wanted Man to live; every life situation is covered in the Holy Bible which I’ll say again, is the word of God, and Jesus got the revelations of His ministry from His Father/God in the wilderness with prayer, fasting and ministering angles. Once Jesus took three disciples to show them what goes on when He’s away; by Himself, and it blew their minds, (Matthew 17:1-13).

When you’ve been called, then chosen you will experience a time in the Wilderness when it’s time to understand and know that nothing you used to be about matters. The messages and revelations while in the Wilderness will come across to be so profound, so strong and so powerful you won’t be able to sit still. People you’ve always been around won’t understand and you won’t be able to help them until you come out, (You can be in the Wilderness while in the presence of others when your time there is incomplete), but when you do receive, engage and move forward to carry out and fulfil the vision that was handed you, some will stay and some will flee, but you won’t waver nor ever be the same because you’ve been to a place not found on Earth and your presence there was and is mandatory for the rest of your physical life, too, your Divine purpose and destination will be handed to you there by God step by step; mind you, His Will will be done and His Word will not come back void and will accomplish all what He sent it out to do, (Isaiah 55:11). Sceptic, then ask Jesus, He should know more about it than me.

Word of note: The Wilderness is not a forest or mountainous area but it could be, The Wilderness is a quiet spot free from intrusion and can be anything, anyplace or anywhere that you’d hold dear for those moments, for that special purpose, and God will quickly meet you there.

Peace is not where you expect it.

I don’t care who you are, peace is the state of mind we all wish would never leave; even tyrants want it and relish a restful night of peaceful sleep and well-being throughout the day. Peace is an energy builder and without it the body can’t rest, reset, or replenish itself and will continue to try and function in a perpetual state of drain that brings about breakdown which fractures the body’s shield to defend itself in order to produce a healthy lifecycle and long life span, so where do you go, and what do you do to get it?

Left to our own understanding we believe we can manufacture it, but the by-product is a counterfeit copy. Trust me, society attempts to interpret this peace of mind but what it offers when tried gets old, because it’s false, fake to use the word being tossed around today; so, where is it, and where can we find this piece? I’ll use myself for this one.

I’m a licensed master in my trade, and I’ve watched my trade go to hell in quality and integrity across-the-board; it’s not what it used to be, so I wanted out. What’s allowed and expected these days because of profit is a disservice to customers, and you can forget about repairs; remove and replace has develop into the norm. Longevity and quality is a forgotten thing of the past and I can’t do that to people. The drain and anguish was so much I had to say enough; I can’t and won’t do this just for money so it’s time to pass the torch, my time is not needed and has gone — I had no peace and was feeling forced to practice a trade in ways I was not accustom and it was not for the better if I were to continue in what has today become a haven for fast easy money.

It had a negative effect on my total being because this is the way I made my living, and it’s not just my trade, but everything is this way today. There was no getting around it, and the unhealthy burden of trying to focus differently was surrounding me and only compounding. This is how depression starts. You feel like your walls are caving in on you; locked in hopelessness as you look to the left and right for answers and finding nothing no matter what society has to offer. Peace was gone and I was sinking but, I was writing for God, wrote a book; now author, writer, editor and publisher, of this blog, (proverbs4-7.com) and I’ve never felt such peace and fulfillment.

Seven years and growing, I sometimes feel something inside of me is missing, incomplete, so I prayed; “Lord I’m losing peace and people keep calling me to practice my trade AND I DON’T WANT TO ANYMORE but I can’t let them down, and with that, it’s become an interference and a distraction on top of everything else that’s wrong with it.” Here’s what happen.

Not sooner but later in prayer time God said, ( Yes, God speaks to me), Don’t lose sight of Me, (Proverbs 3:21-22 & 24), and stop doing things for yourself, (Proverbs 3:27), and start doing them as Jesus would, (John 21:25). Take yourself and your own motivation out of the equation, (Proverbs 3:5). Do this and the Holy Spirit will perform the task. Apply only the labor accordingly, (Philippians 2:13). Your peace will be in the understanding of what’s going on, (Proverbs 4:7). Forget time and money. Just obey your new spirit within, (Matthew 16:24). I will strengthen you, (Isaiah 41:10), and remember your peace is in me; not in what you search, (John 14:27). YOUR peace is in blessings through task, letter, and speech, (Acts 20:35).

Imagine that, God change me to find strength, peace, and fulfillment in what I don’t and didn’t want to do anymore and it’s great. I never expected to find peace there or that way ever, but only Jesus.

Word of note: Peace is not found in an act, accomplishment, achievement, action, activity, behavior, deed, event, feat, job, operation, performance or presentation, ritual, transaction, or doings. All of these over time get old; you’d think not but they do because they and you can max out. They all become the same o, same o after time. Peace is not yours to develop or release and it’s not something you can manufacture from within.     Scripture tells us there’s no righteousness (nothing good) that lives in us (our physical bodies/the flesh), but the desire is there and a will to carry it out is, but we can’t, (Romans 7:18,19), so how can we find peace in something that’s no good by design and that by nature is false, fake, or a put-on; what a wretched people we are, (Romans 7:24).

Peace is a person and the title Prince usually proceeds who this peace person is and I think you’ve got it figured, the Prince of Peace, Jesus.   Peace is a free gift in the person of Jesus; it’s His, (Romans 5:1). Jesus’ Peace never gets old because His Peace is infinite and true. It appears to look like fake peace but the reality of it is not in its appearance measured by the five senses but in its creation which is part of a saved person’s DNA; an attachment like fingers to a hand.

When Jesus’ hand is in everything, that everything functions sweat less, makes rich, and adds no sorrow. (Proverbs 10:22) So, only in and by Jesus everything I mentioned above can never get old or max out even if it’s only one of those things you value most in your life.

Living for yourself seeking peace and pleasure will create burn out. You won’t find it because it’s not yours to find, but you can have it if you invite in the person who has it and wants to give it to you.   Told you, I wasn’t kidding, peace is not where you expect it.
